Facts
- Scope –WingHaven® is a $750 million, 1,200-acre master-planned community in O’Fallon, Mo. The mixed-use development is a techno-rich community that blends residential, office, commercial, recreational and educational offerings in a layout reminiscent of small town America.
- Residential – More than 2,500 people live in WingHaven®. The development will ultimately have nearly 2,000 residential units in 26 diverse neighborhoods.
- Employment – More than 5,000 people work in WingHaven®. The development is projected to have 1.5 million square feet of office space, 1.2 million square feet of high-tech, research/service center space and 400,000 square feet of retail. Business guests are served by the Hilton Garden Inn at WingHaven®.
- Educational – WingHaven® host many levels of education, including graduate and post-graduate programs at Webster University’s WingHaven® campus. It is also served by the Wentzville, Fort Zumwalt and Francis Howell school districts. Crossroads Elementary School, which is located in WingHaven®, is part of the Wentzville district.. The soon-to-be built Barat Academy adjacent to WingHaven® will be a private coeducational high school in the Roman Catholic tradition. Goddard School offers specialized pre-school programs for children. The planned WingHaven® Learning Center will offer advanced degree programs, computer training and general interest classes on such topics as cooking, language and the arts.
- Retail – WingHaven® hosts four conveniently located village-style retail centers totaling 250,000 square feet. Several more are in the planning stages. An abundance of restaurants, appealing to all tastes, serve WingHaven®
- Health Care – St. Luke’s Hospital offers a comprehensive patient care facility at WingHaven®. Other major health care providers are expanding services in new health care facilities conveniently located near WingHaven®
- Social and Recreational Amenities – WingHaven® has six miles of hiking and biking trails. The WingHaven® Country Club has memberships that appeal to all budgets. It includes a Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course, a large swimming pool, tennis courts, a fitness center and casual dining. WingHaven’s town center at Boardwalk Market Place is a social hub for entire community. WingHaven® also includes two spas.
- Green Space – About 500 acres of WingHaven®, which borders the 6,987-acre August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area, are preserved as permanent green space.
- High-Tech Infrastructure - All commercial, office and residential units are linked by a sophisticated internal communications system. It includes end-to-end digital networks, bandwidth-on-demand and broadband environment, fiber-optic cable, high-speed data transfer and concrete-encased electric and communication duct banks to mitigate the potential for an outage.
